“The wonderful staff at WERC welcomed me as part of their team and I am proud to have used my skills and experiences to support their important work. Volunteering there allowed me to deepen my knowledge of relevant resources, understand on the ground realities, develop sustaining relationships and learn about the women's development sector on the island.
