Ms. Sulakshana de Mel


Ms. Sulakshana de Mel is a socio-cultural anthropologist who has received her primary and secondary education in Mexico and Master of Science at University of Oxford, Oxford Field Of Study Social and Cultural Anthropology. She has obtained her Master of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge in the field of Social and Political Sciences. With over 15 years of work experience in the development sector, she has worked in many parts of South Asia and in Germany. She has been a Legislative Fellow of the US Department of State, Colombus, Ohio Area, from October to November 2014, as Gender Specialist at the International Consortium of Development Consultants, from April to September 2014, in Greater London and Regional Coordinator South Asia for Transparency International, in 2013, in Berlin, Germany Sulakshana, is currently Technical Advisor at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Sri Lanka.
