Institutionalization of Women’s Studies, the Dynamics, Curriculum, Pedagogy etc., & Gender Studies in Higher Education & Media – Tamil (2009)

The biennial Tamil conference funded by MATCH International and was held on December, 4th and 5th 2009.

Based on above mentioned theme, three presenters from India: Dr. Padma Venkatraman, Dr. V. Geetha and Prof. Kalpagam Umamaheswaran and two from Sri Lanka: Dr. Yogarasa took part. Dr. Selvy Thiruchandran in her welcome speech set in position the foundation for the entire conference. The second day was for open discussion of the proceedings of the entire conference and the conference theme.
